14th Annual Civic Reception and Awards Ceremony

14th Annual Civic Reception and Awards Ceremony

The Penal/Debe Regional Corporation held its Annual Civic Reception & Awards Ceremony at Doc’s Ranch on Saturday 8th July, 2017.

The Civic Awards function of the Penal/Debe Regional Corporation is an expression of appreciation to citizens who have excelled in academics and public life. Outstanding SEA and CAPE students residing with the region are honoured bases on performances at the respective exams. Residents who have contributed to the development of their respective communities and in some instances within the region or nationally are also honoured at the function. Tribute is also paid to retirees from the P.D.R.C for their years of loyal and dedicated service. For example, for the exams written in 2016, 26 students were among the top 200 SEA students and 42 National Scholarship winners at CAPE. Hundreds have been recognized for their contributions over the past 15 years of our celebrations.
