Tropical Storm Bret hits the region of Penal/Debe

On Monday June 19th 2017, Tropical Storm Bret struck Trinidad and caused untold damage to the country. The Penal/Debe Region was the hardest hit and damage through winds and flooding resulted in millions of dollars of losses. Over 1000 homes were directly affected including blown off roofs, fallen trees, blocked drains, landslides and flooded homes.

Nine electoral districts were affected to different degrees of severity.

All visitors entering the Penal/Debe Regional Corporation must be appropriately dressed. Failure to comply with this rule will result in denial of admission.
Visitors shall dress in attire that is not provocative or offensive to others. Clothing that may not be worn includes:
- Halter, tank or tube tops;
- Backless or bare midriff tops;
- Skirts and dresses more than 3 inches above the knee
- See through or fish net woven type clothing;
- Shorts
- Spandex/lycra, tight knit or excessively tight fitting clothing;
- Pants or skirts that expose the rear or hind part of the body;
- Clothing that displays inappropriate or obscene messages
- No bare feet, flip flops or shower type shoes

The Penal/Debe Regional Corporation extends an invitation to the members of the Public to sign a book of condolence, in commemoration of the passing of former President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago George Maxwell Richards.

The Book is now lodged at the Main Lobby Front Desk of the Corporation, 218A S.S Erin Road, Debe.
From today (Monday) until Friday from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. daily.
